In February 2024, TranspariMED and allied groups published a report claiming that 475 clinical trials involving 83,903 patients across five Nordic countries had never made their results public. The report was widely covered in national media in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

The report stated that Copenhagen University Hospital (Rigshospitalet) had left 39 clinical trials unreported, making it the institution with the largest total number of missing trial results.

The worst performer identified in TranspariMED's report was Haukeland University Hospital in Norway. The report found a research waste rate of 50%, with 15 out of 30 trials remaining unreported.
