Our Story
Scientific Route OÜ was founded in Estonia in 2015 as a scientific publishing company focused on advancing international scientific communication.
From the very beginning, the company’s goal was not only to publish the results of scientific research but also to create an environment that helps scientists present their work to the international academic community, foster professional collaboration, and make scientific knowledge more accessible.
Over time, Scientific Route OÜ activities have expanded to encompass several key areas: publishing scientific journals, academic books, and monographs; organizing scientific conferences; and providing professional publishing services.
Today, Scientific Route OÜ publishes five scientific journals covering the physical and engineering sciences, medicine and public health, the life sciences, and the social sciences and humanities. The publishing portfolio includes the EUREKA series of journals and the multidisciplinary journal ScienceRise. Particular attention is paid to the quality of scientific publications, the peer-review process, publication ethics, and compliance with international editorial standards.
At the same time, Scientific Route OÜ is actively expanding its book publishing operations, producing monographs and edited volumes across a wide range of disciplines in both electronic and print formats, with distribution within the international academic community.
Scientific Route OÜ supports the open dissemination of research results; it is a member of Crossref, a signatory to the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), and a member of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP)—an international association bringing together leading scholarly and professional publishers.
In 2024, the Scientific Route OÜ® trademark was registered.
Throughout its history, the company has consistently developed its publishing standards. Manuscripts undergo editorial and ethical reviews, peer review, and scrutiny in accordance with policies regarding authorship, plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and academic integrity.
Today, Scientific Route OÜ® is an international scientific publisher trusted by authors, editors, reviewers, researchers, and academic institutions.

Growing international publishing activity

Our Scientific Route OÜ® trademark has been officially registered, which has strengthened our brand’s recognition within the scientific community.
2022 - 2023
Indexing of the Specialized Resource Scientific Route OÜ monograph.route.ee by the Scopus Database
Elsevier experts confirmed that the scientific quality of the monographs published by Scientific Route OÜ meets the requirements for indexing in the Scopus scientometric database. An agreement was immediately signed with Elsevier to index the specialized resource of Scientific Route OÜ – monograph.route.ee – in the Scopus database, with back issues dating back to 2020.

InGraph, a New Publishing Platform
Launch of the alpha version of the new InGraph publishing platform, in the development of which Scientific Route OÜ has invested as a co-founder of the project.

Scientific Route OÜ has begun publishing the journal “ScienceRise”.

EUREKA: Physics and Engineering
The Scopus scientometric database has decided to include one of our journals, “EUREKA: Physics and Engineering,” in its index.

Organization of Scientific Conferences
Scientific Route OÜ organized and began holding scientific conferences: “Technology transfer: fundamental principles and innovative technical solutions”, “Technology transfer: innovative solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities”.
2016
Launch of the First Academic Journal and Organization of Internship Programs
Scientific Route OÜ published our first scientific journal, laying the foundation for the expansion of our activities in various fields of science: physical sciences and engineering, social sciences and humanities, health sciences, life sciences.
Scientific Route OÜ also co-organized an internship program aimed at enhancing the professional qualifications of research and teaching staff.
2015
Establishment of Scientific Route OÜ
Scientific Route OÜ was founded in Estonia, marking the beginning of our journey in scientific publishing.
